Rafael Alfandary moved to Canada in 1970, and quickly established himself as one of the most popular jewellery designers of the decade. His clients at the time included Margaret Trudeau, Lorne Greene, Liberace and Muhammad Ali, and more recently, Prince wore a piece by Rafael to the People's Choice Awards in 2005.
The clear aqua green glass cabochons are well suited to the sterling silver settings in these kinetic drop earrings. Sterling jewellery by Rafael is quite difficult to come by, and this pair is one of the nicest examples we've seen.
