This large mug or stein was created by the husband and wife team of Lotte and Gunnar Bostlund. The couple, originally from Denmark, moved to Canada after the war and set up shop near Toronto, Ontario. They are most well-known for their iconic ceramic 'Lotte lamps' with their famed fibreglass shades and beautiful glazes. Please note there is a glaze imperfection where the handle attaches which is original to the piece (see last photo.)
